Consider bringing earplugs for sleeping due to the frequent train noise, which may disrupt light sleepers' rest.

The rooms have a convenient microwave available in the lobby.
We faced a series of frustrating issues at this motel. The door to my mother's room was practically hanging off its hinges, leaving it unsecure and allowing cold drafts in. Additionally, the wall outlets were so loose that our phone chargers wouldn't stay plugged in, turning what should have been a restful night into a struggle to keep our devices charged.

I wasn’t ready for this!
This place was a surprise! Comfortable beds and super friendly staff made us feel at home. It's quaint, right next to the train tracks, adding a charm to the stay. Clean sheets and a safe environment were big pluses. Plus, fantastic food options are just steps away. Great value for your dollar!

Family get away, decent stay
We got greeted by the owner who was a nice enough guy, made us feel welcome. There’s a Drive-In next door that we walked to for some late-night burgers and it was surprisingly good!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you know, the price was still okay.

The location's great, just a few blocks from downtown and close to a good drive-in restaurant. The owner checked us in and gave us a warm welcome, which felt nice. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean, which was a huge plus. I appreciated the availability of a microwave in the lobby, making it easy to heat up snacks. The atmosphere has this old-school charm, taking me back to the motels I'd visit in my childhood. However, the train noise was pretty consistent, so that could be bothersome for light sleepers. Had some issues with loose wall outlets too—the chargers wouldn't stay connected. That made it tricky to keep phones charged overnight. Also, the bathroom in one of the rooms had some minor maintenance issues, like a door that didn't close completely. Overall, it felt safe and quaint for a nostalgic stay, but a few updates would really enhance the experience.

I loved that the Wi-Fi was super fast and there was a cozy spot outside to unwind. It’s perfect for a quick getaway, especially if you enjoy being nearby for some peace and quiet. The only thing was the old furniture could use a refresh, but it didn’t take away from the good vibes. 🌟
